Howdy everyone! So happy to be back and blogging again. What’s been happening you might ask? Well let’s dive into it. 🙂
2021 ended with quite a lot going on. I ended up in the emergency room THREE times at the end of my pregnancy (no fun), and was the reason I haven’t been on since last fall. We then welcomed our first baby, Liam Abraham on 2/3/22 – I’ll share his birth story later. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of no sleep, cleaning bottles and never ending laundry… wow I sound like a mom don’t I?
We are now living back in our hometown of Maumee, Ohio and couldn’t be happier to have so much family around for our little guy to get to spend time with.
This year I have a lot of goals for myself and my family. Did you set goals or resolutions for yourself this year?
My first is to get us (mainly myself) out of debt this year. My dad passed away 20 days after Liam was born, and it just puts things into perspective. I don’t want to live my life slaving to pay off these debts for life, which most of you by now know is mostly student loans. I want to be able to provide a better life for Liam when he gets older and prepare for other things as well for Abe and I.
We’ve always rented. I would love to be able to build our dream home this year or start the process at least. We toured and met with the team from Homes by Josh Doyle in the area and absolutely fell in love with his creativity.
I would love to find my purpose. I’m still currently working in Human Resources (mainly recruitment now after a shift in the organization I work for), but I haven’t felt completely fulfilled lately. I would love to see where this blog goes, I also am still providing virtual assistant services, and I hope to re-establish an online boutique as fashion is still a huge passion/love of mine.
